The rollout of medical cannabis in our region will bring jobs and internship opportunities to local college students as well as relief to patients suffering from life-altering medical conditions, according to a panel of experts.
“Rollin’ Out Medical Cannabis,” which was held at Jacksonville State University on Wednesday, brought a crowd of students, faculty and residents who asked questions on a range of topics, including Alabama and federal law, logistics, insurance coverage, timing of the medical cannabis rollout and physician training.
