HACKETTSTOWN, Nj. – Authorities in Western New Jersey have charged a half dozen people in connection with an operation that allegedly sold illegal cannabis products at local businesses.

After an eight-month investigation, the Hackettstown Police Department, in conjunction with the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey Division of Taxation, executed search warrants on a number of Hackettstown businesses.

Police raided Canna Campus, Good Luck Vapes, Smokey Bear and Mom N Pops CBD & Wellness Shop and seized approximately $20,000 in U.S. currency, suspected raw marijuana as well as suspected cannabinoid infused products in various forms.

Charged are:

28-year-old Joseph Lanzisera of Scranton, Pa.

30-year-old Marlon Carbajal of Netcong, Nj.

26-year-old Shiva Khosla of Rockaway, Nj.

35-year-old Kimberly Aiello of Mt. Arlington, Nj.

48-year-old Raymond Brown of Great Meadows, Nj.

33-year-old Michael Scardigno of Phillipsburg, Nj.

All six are charged with possession with intent to distribute.

Additionally, Aiello, Brown, Khosla and Scardigno are charged with financial facilitation of criminal activity.

All are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
