A federal judge has sentenced a Connecticut man to two years in federal prison after he arranged for the delivery of synthetic cannabis to the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility in Providence, Rhode Island.

The announcement was made today by U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha.

According to the announcement, the man, who is not named in the court documents, was detained at the Wyatt Detention Center while awaiting sentencing on a criminal matter prosecuted in Connecticut. He arranged for papers soaked with a synthetic cannabinoid to be shipped to the facility.
